Pride Parade

Cock ManI just noticed that they moved where they are planning on having the Gay Pride Parade this year. Usually they have it run up Broadway Ave., in Seattle. Last year there was talk that it would move to 1st Ave. for this year but according to their website, it’s been moved to 4th Ave.

I don’t know what the logic is behind this. Broadway is sort of the Gay Mecca of Seattle. I believe their logic is that 4th Ave. is more accommodating to such a large crowd. But I didn’t really think that the Broadway location was all that crowded. I could still easily walk along the sidewalk and stand where I wanted to stand… Oh, well, it’s no big deal. Pride is Pride wherever it is.
