Panorama Picture

I love the panorama feature on my camera. I’ve only used it a few times but it’s fun. It just doesn’t have a regular practical use. Case in point:
Yes, I know you have all seen my new apartment and, quite frankly, I don’t care. There it is again. Deal with it! Yeah, you heard me! DEAL WITH IT!
*snicker*
Anyways, I still need to turn in my keys for the old apartment. I’m reluctant to do so because we are still getting mail at the old address. If I turn in the keys, we won’t be able to get that mail, and I’m still expecting a check from the insurance company.
We actually just today finished up getting everything out of the old apartment. I had thought that I was done a while ago because the few remaining things that I left behind were things that I was giving to Jared. Then suddenly he decided he didn’t want those things so I had to go and pick those items up. While picking those things up I decided to make a walk through the apartment, check the cupboards and such, to make sure that we got everything. Well, it turned out that Jared forgot to grab a shit-load of his stuff from the kitchen.
Upon finding all of this stuff I promptly called him to see if he was planning on coming back or something. Nope, he was done (as far as he knew) and had turned in his keys already. Dammit! I told him he had forgotten a bunch of stuff, etc., and that he’d need to come back and get it all. Of course, this meant that I had to unlock the door for him.
I think Jared was just in a huge hurry to get out. I don’t blame him. He hated living in that apartment. But, man, he left all of his food in the refrigerator, a waffle iron and electric juicer in the cupboard, as well as a big unopened bag of noodles and some other food items, and some glass coffee mugs, etc. It was almost funny, but not really surprising. As I’ve told him before, he’s a space-cadet when it comes to remembering to do something.
His fiancé and I helped him bag up all of his junk and a few more of the things that I had bought but left in the apartment in case he wanted them (which he didn’t). In the end, I think we had about four garbage bags full of items, both things-to-keep and things-to-toss (mostly the latter).
As for me, I finally took the final step that says that I am totally moved in, and put my remaining photos on the wall. Honestly, I was scared about the whole move and the sudden prospect of having to do so as well as trying to figure out how I would be able to fit all of my shit into a studio apartment. And that’s not to mention having to get rid of my nice comfortable full size bed and committing to sleeping on my futon. But now that I am totally moved in, I already feel like I’m at home. All of my things are put away, and many of the things that I wasn’t able to have out at the previous apartment because Jared didn’t like them, are now setting out. The lack of these things somewhat prevented me from ever totally feeling at home in that last place, more than I even realized.
So, now I’m totally home. *heavy sigh*
So, enjoy that damn picture……. NOW!
