There’s a meme going around which requires… yes, requires, that you post a photo of yourself which was taken in the ’90s. There are few pictures in my possession of me from that decade, save for this one, which is one of my favorites.

It was taken during my 19th birthday party, in 1990. I’m towering over my aunt Judy in this photo, which was staged, of course, because we thought it would be funny to show her trying to chew out someone who’s a foot taller than her. Of course we kind of started giggling and lost the look of being chewed out.

This is also proof that once upon a time I had hair. It’s true.
