Howdy! Yes, I say “howdy” and I’m not from the south or any other region where the word is commonly used. I picked it up from someone who used to say it all the time… oddly enough, I couldn’t stand the guy. He’s dead now. I had nothing to do with that. His drinking did that.

So anyways, I’m Dave. Hi. *waves* I like to write though rarely have much to write about. I often have thoughts and ideas that I’d like to share but not enough energy to write it all out. Sometimes you’ll see a recounting of my day’s events in here. In fact, that’s typically what you’ll see here as I like to write things down while they are fairly fresh in my memory for prosperity sake.

I also like to post pictures a lot. Pictures of things that I see during the day or from actual photo-shooting sprees. Whichever… or both. I’m a carpenter, well, a carpenter in the loosest of terms. I do hardware installs for a finish carpentry company. When I was first hired I was told I was a finish carpenter, but I imagine you’d need to work with wood at least once in a while to be considered a carpenter. Right?

Um, what else? Well, I’m gay. I used to think that was some major thing to write about but now I feel it’s more along the lines of saying that I’m tall or that I’m going bald, though it makes more of an impact on my life than being tall or going bald, so it’s a little bit more worth mentioning, I suppose.

I guess I’ll leave it at that for now.
